8u Tournament Team – Tryout date 5/23

Attention 8u Baseball Parents,

Attention 8u Baseball Parents,

Washington Twp Youth Baseball will select a “8u Tournament Team” (for players currently in the 8u age group only) to play in a couple of weekend events after the WTPR intramural season ends.  This email has information and important details about selection and tryout process.

Eligibility: ONLY Players currently in the WTPR 8u division-NO TRAVEL PLAYERS ALLOWED

Tryout: THURSDAY 5/23/19, 6:30pm start PLEASE ARRIVE 20 MINS EARLY TO REGISTER BIRCHES FIELDS

Please note: There is the possibility that not all players who try out will make the team.

Objective: First and foremost, fun and improving as young baseball players learning the game. Beyond that, this gives players that are interested in playing more baseball an opportunity to play games at a more competitive level against other organizations. Think of it as a small taste of what travel baseball is.

Commitment: Once the team is selected the practices will begin ASAP. Expect 1-2 practices per week maximum. The team will enter two tournaments on the weekends of 6/21 and 7/12. These tournaments will consist of 3-5 games over the course of those weekends. All players selected must be available for both weekends, please consider this when deciding to have your player try out.

Cost: Will be based on tournament fees, jersey and hat cost. The price per player will be determined after the selection of the team.

Any questions, please email Charlie Rojas – chal.rojas08@gmail.com

Thank you,

Washington Twp Youth Baseball
