**DOUBLE ROSTER PLAYERS**
A player cannot be on two rosters playing in our tournament regardless of age group. If a player is double rostered they will not be allowed to play in our tournament.

TOURNAMENT RULES

All teams will play 2 games between Friday and Saturday.
Each age group will be seeded on Saturday night.
Sunday is single-elimination play and the championship games will be on Monday.

9u Division, 13u Division & 14u Division
All teams make the playoff round, please check the schedule for playoff bracket.

10u Division, 11u Division & 12u Division
Seed 7 plays Seed 8 in a consolation game on Sunday morning
Seed 1 & Seed 2 get a bye
Seed 4 plays Seed 5 and the winner plays Seed 1
Seed 3 plays Seed 6 and the winner plays Seed 2


GAME TIME LIMITS

9u through 12u:  No new inning can start after 1 hour 50 min

13u & 14u:  No new inning can start after 2 hours

BAT RESTRICTIONS

9u & 10u:  Barrel may not exceed 2¼” in diameter.  The bat may not exceed 33″ in length.  Only  2¼” barrel non-wood bats marked BPF 1.15 will be allowed.  Wood 2¼” barrel bats are allowed.

11u & 12u:  All bats must have either the BPF 1.15 or BBCOR designation displayed on the bat.  No other weight or size restrictions.  Coach Pitch bats are not permitted.

13u & 14U:  The bat may not exceed 34″ in length, and the bat barrel may not exceed 2 5/8″ in diameter.  All aluminum/alloy barrel bats and all composite handle (only) aluminum/alloy barrels are allowed. Wood barrel bats conforming to the specifications of Official Baseball Rule 1.10 are allowed.

13U:  2 5/8” barrel (Drop cannot be higher than a –9)
14U:  2 5/8” barrel (-5 drop)

 

HOME TEAM

Each team will be home and away in each of their two pool play games.  Refer to the tournament schedule for home and away teams, home team is listed on the right.  Higher seed will be home team starting Sunday.

RE-SEEDING RULES

1.  Best Record
2.  Head to Head (if only two teams are tied)
3.  Runs Allowed
4.  Run Differential
5.  Runs Scored
6.  Coin Flip

MERCY RULE

9u through 12u – 10 runs after 4 innings
13u & 14u – 10 runs after 5 innings


LINE UP RULE

Teams will have the discretion to select one of the following options that must be declared prior to the start of the game. Further, this option must be utilized for the entire game.

  • Bat the entire lineup
  • Bat nine
  • Bat ten, utilizing an Extra Player (EP). You may only use one EP.
  • If you are batting the order, there is NO out taken if a player must leave the game providing the lineup does not go below nine players.


RE-ENTRY

If a team does not bat the entire lineup and substitutes are available, we use the standard re-entry rule.  Starters may be re-entered once as long as the player occupies their original position in the batting order.  The sub is not eligible to re-enter the game once he is removed.


PITCHING

There are no pitching limits for any age group.


COURTESY RUNNER

With two outs a pinch runner should be used for your catcher.  The player who made the last out will serve as the courtesy runner.
