Wash Twp Blue Wins 10u Championship

Washington Twp Blue defeated Berlin 10-0 on Saturday to capture the District 3 Championship for the second straight year.  This group won the 9u championship last year and went on to win the Middle Atlantic Regionals.  WT Blue, coached by George Toth, steamrolled through the 11 team double elimination bracket.  The Minutemen gave up only 4 runs in the entire tournament, scored 83 runs and won all five games by the 10 run rule.  WT Blue 10u moves on to the State Tournament which is scheduled to begin on July 11 in Delran.  Congratulations to all of the players and coaches!
