WT 10u Blue Win First Game in Regionals

WT 10u Blue came back and held on to win their first Middle Atlantic Regional game 6-5 against Manalapan on Thursday morning in North Colonie, NY.  WT trailed 2-0 through the first four innings but rallied for 6 runs in the bottom of the 5th to take a 6-2 lead.  Manalapan came back in the top of the 6th with 3 runs on no outs.  Clinging to a 6-5 lead in the top of the last inning, WT was faced with a bases loaded no outs situation.  Twp was able to get an out at home on a passed ball that turned into a run down, then a fielders choice force out at home (pitcher to catcher) and finally a pop out foul to first base.  WT 10u Blue plays East Brandywine at 1:30pm on Friday July 26th.
