WT 14u Blue Reach Quarterfinals in Regionals

The WT 14u Blue travel team reached the quarterfinals in the Middle Atlantic Regionals in Clifton Park, NY.  The Minutemen defeated the Eastern NY team Kingston 16-1 in 5 innings to capture the #2 seed in Pool A.  Coach Barbara’s team has only given up 7 runs in four games losing their first two games 2-1 and 3-2 respectively.  WT came back and defeated Maryland 8-1 and then Kingston 16-1 in their final two games.  Twp will face the Metro NY state winner “Next Millennium” on Sunday at 11am for a chance to advance to the semi-finals.
